Jason is an audit partner in HMT’s assurance group.   Jason joined HMT from KPMG in 2006 having had ten years of experience dealing with a wide variety businesses in the owner managed business group.  This included privately owned SMEs together with subsidiaries of large listed groups.  Jason was also involved in a number of specialist transaction support projects in his time at KPMG.

Since joining HMT, Jason has enjoyed the freedom to spend time with his clients really understanding their business and developing ways to help with all of their financial issues.  Due to the nature of his portfolio, Jason has experience in a number of areas such as technical accounting and restructuring exercises.  He is particularly focused on businesses undergoing change and preparing his clients to maximise the value from their business.

Whilst at KPMG, Jason had spent some time acting as Chief Finance Officer for one of his clients and has a good understanding of managing businesses undergoing change. He completed his MBA at Manchester Business School which was focused on SME organisations.
